Greetify ("we", "us", "our") operates the Greetify mobile application and
related services (the "Service"). This policy explains what information
we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service
you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, profile picture, and a Google account identifier.
Greeting cards and Vault content. Cards you create, customize, scan, or import — including photos, text, stickers, and audio — are stored so you can use them across devices and share them with recipients you choose.
Camera and photo library. If you scan or import a physical card, the captured images are processed by the Service. We only access the camera and photo library after you grant permission.
Device and notification tokens. We collect a push notification token and basic device identifiers (model, OS version) so we can deliver notifications and diagnose crashes.
Usage diagnostics. Crash reports, performance metrics, and aggregated usage events (e.g. feature opens) to keep the app stable.
2. How we use information
To provide and maintain the Service (sign-in, syncing your cards and Vault, delivering greetings to recipients).
To send transactional notifications such as new card deliveries and replies. You can disable notifications in your device settings.
To debug, prevent abuse, and improve product quality.
To comply with legal obligations.
3. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with:
Service providers that host our backend (cloud hosting, push delivery, error monitoring) under contractual confidentiality.
Recipients you explicitly choose to send a card to — they will see the card content and the sender name you set.
Authorities when required by law.
4. Data retention
Your account and cards are retained until you delete them or delete your
account. Deleted items are removed from active systems within 30 days and
from backups within 90 days.
5. Your rights
You can access, export, or delete your data at any time from the in-app
account settings, or by emailing the address below. EU/EEA, UK, and
California residents have additional rights under GDPR/UK GDPR/CCPA
including the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with
a supervisory authority.
6. Children
Greetify is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum
age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal
information from children. If you believe a child has provided us
information, please contact us so we can delete it.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Backend storage is access-controlled
and audited. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your
information using industry-standard practices.
8. International transfers
Greetify is operated from Germany. If you use the Service outside the EU,
your information will be transferred to and processed in the EU.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in-app or
by email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
